OUR STORY
What started as a small idea between two sisters has grown into South Florida’s leading vendor management and digital marketing platform for small businesses and events.
Miami Friendors was created by two sisters and best friends, Adriana and Amanda Martinez. Growing up as two of five sisters, family, hard work, and creativity were always at the center of their lives. After their dad passed away, everything shifted. His energy and young spirit had shaped them from the beginning.
Amanda was the first to start something new. She launched a small business called Teeny Bopper, selling custom denim jackets for kids at local markets. The name was a tribute to their dad, who loved calling himself a "teeny bopper." She also continued running the business she had built with their dad, but without him, it was no longer the same. Amanda eventually decided to sell it and began looking for a new direction.
At the same time, Adriana was living in another city. After ending her engagement and leaving the business she was in with her fiancé, she moved back home to Miami. She took on a part-time job and started a charcuterie business while figuring out her next steps.
In May 2022, everything came together. During a visit to Amanda’s house, Adriana found out Amanda was interviewing for a new job over the phone. After the call, they sat down and talked. Adriana asked Amanda to tell her more about Miami Friendors, the monthly market Amanda had been hosting at a local brewery that she began a few months after starting Teeny Boppers. As Amanda shared more about Friendors, Adriana immediately saw the potential. She asked, "What if we did it together?"
And just like that, they did.
They combined their energy, ideas, and heart. What started as one market quickly grew into something much bigger. Today, Miami Friendors is one of South Florida’s go-to platforms for vendor management, event coordination, and digital marketing, helping small businesses grow and connect both online and in real life.
As Miami Friendors grew, so did the team. A group of passionate people who believe in community, creativity, and building something meaningful came together.
